These football players of today

Mon Apr 16, 2012 7:38 pm

are becoming more like politicians.

All we have had of them is "we are confident", "Its in our hands", "they are a difficult team to beat butif we play.....", all political correct stuff. Why can't they just say it the way it is like, "we have been poor but all the other teams around us have been crap", and " we have not won at home for a while but because Derby are playing crap we should be able to stop this bad home form"

Say it as it is.

Cos if a player comes out n says " we've been crap" it's not the ideal phrase the manager and board would expect a player to say. But u got a point Ian.

U still watching me :D :D :D :D

Because if they don't people twist the words they say. I've seen it on this board this season by posters quoting one line of a interview.
People used to do it to have a dig at DJ as well who was just to honest and most people now realise he was right about our fans.

Ian Holloway - Love him or hate him?

He tells it as it is, in a nice, respectable kind of way.

Entertaining too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_RdLGZ89uU :D

"WHO IS THIS PERSON?! HE'S WRONG!"
