Most immigrants are the hardest working people you will ever meet - like anyone else, there's a tiny minority that are feckless.

Before we stop all immigration, have a think what would happen to the NHS - it would fall apart without immigration.

I think if we followed the Australian attitude to Immigration then we would be fine.They seem to have a good balance of finding immigrants to fill the required positions without swamping the country needlessly.

The unemployment rate for the 16 to 23 yr old age group is well over 20% in this country and rising fast.These youngsters have never had a chance because there are no jobs here for them. Most of them would love a chance to get on the first rung of the jobs market and most are being denied through no fault of their own.To call them jobless scum just shows how ignorant you are and you should be ashamed of yourself.

i watched all this on the news and political programmes on the tv and radio
these kids will not work a job that earns less than £300 a week
are unwilling to work weekends and nights because it interferes with their social life

a hotel owner
screaming out for managers to work in his hotel
interviewed a kid who had spent 3 years studying leisure and tourism in university
hotel owner tells prospective employee that as part of his job he will be required to work 2 weekends in every 4
kid turned the job down because working weekends interferes with his social life
great work ethic that is
a social life is more important than a working life
most kids these days between 16 and 23 will not consider taking cleaning jobs or manual labour jobs
