Promotion Door Closing?

Fri Apr 06, 2012 4:19 pm

A good result today with Brightons loss but Blackpools win at Watford puts them along with Brum and West Ham in a good position for 3 of the play off positions. That would leave Boro,Brighton and ourselves in a race for the last spot with Hull also having an outside chance. At this stage of the season points on the board count as the pressure rises on the other teams. Views? Until the door is closed let's go for it. Let's be positive like Blackpool !

Dobbie single handedly seems to be getting Blackpool in the mix.

Agree, Blackpool do go for it and Dobbie has done an excellent job for them. Another player who we didn,t go for.

IMO it was never open as there was no desire to go up, next season will see a different agenda from the Malaysians

To be fair, the majority of the city fans said top 10 at best this season.

Its in our own hands now, if we beat Middlesbrough we will be in the top 6. Do our players have the balls and heart to do it? Yes I think they do but we need Miller to get his goals scoring boots on pronto. He is supposed to be a big game player well the next 6 games are all big games and if we are lucky enough to stay in the top 6 I think we are capable of winning the play offs, after all we have enough experience of them and Wembley. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I said a few weeks back even though he's a jack we should have asked about him, he was a more realistic choice, few miles up the road, works hard & scores goals! Hell, at that time and still now it's goals we needed badly! Could have only made our strike force better wouldn't have he!

Same as always, four wins out of our six remaining games will get us in the playoffs, it doesn't matter which six, Brighton and Birmingham both have a much harder run in than us........

A win today though will clearly put us in the driving seat :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
