Jason Roberts

Watching the Reading v Leeds game and that's who we could have done with is Jason Roberts. We never made a move for a decent striker. Roberts is a handful up front, scores goals and creates for others. A type of player that we needed. He also has Premiership experience and I think that he went to Reading on a free transfer.

Isn't he on loan? Average prem striker, and evidently a great championship striker ... Been to them what Borini was to the jacks!

Why the hell didn't we make an approach for him??

Defenders can't get near him when he's holding the ball up and his work rate is awesome. If Malky does have this alleged 'background and lifestyle' check of the players he is after, well Roberts is hardly going to upset the apple cart is he?? Keeps himself out of the spotlight and comes across as a geniune bloke.

He was exactly the sort of player we needed and still do...
