They released a claim saying they would only be able to be a succesful English club again if they had the stadium.
They're a horrible little club with a tw*t of a manager, and don't deserve it.

Anyway, why would they want a new 60,000 seater stadium when they can only just fill a 35,000 seater in the premiership? Plus they're fans wouldnt really want it would they?
If anyone should have it it should be Spurs. Or Leyton Orient  (They did put a request in by the way)

Saw a photo of the athletics stadium recently. Running track and all that. Not what football is all about.

Say what you like about WHU, they are a proper football club, with great traditions. Went there first game of the season, and the Boleyn ground is just steeped in football tradition.

Tottenham are staying in, er, Tottenham. The Os are staying in Leyton. No city in the world has more professional clubs than London. Each has its own traditions. It's a shame that any of them would even consider moving to an athletics ground. Let the white eliphant rot.

Fair point, blackwood :ayatollah: Do Man City own it now, or are they renting it off somebody? If WHU rent the London athletics stadium, would they be allowed to do the same, or would there still be athletics and running there sometimes?
