its like 3,000 miles away from the uk.

it a joke,
should just give them back their terroritory,

it would be like brazzalians owning, northern island , or jersey = absoloute joke

If you use the argument about distance, then you may as well give the Channel Islands to the French as well, as they are closer to the Islands than the UK!

If our country is willing to risk even more lives by getting involved over there, then there should be an uprising. More blood for oil.

My cousin is actually based in the Falklands and has been for a few months now. Speaking to him the other day (the wonders of facebook) he said that there are 2,500 troops based in the Falklands and can easily defend it if attacked.

The people there are more patronic towards Great Britian than anyone in this country and until their thinking changes through the ballot box then we should defend the islands to the death.

We got about 2 battalions of troops(1200) 6 fighter jets, 1 frigate, 1 destroyer, loads of anti aircraft missisles and probably a nuclear sub down there they would'nt get within 100 miles.

The Argies havnt got the infrastructure to even get to the Falklands let alone plan an invasion , they have no ships . Besides it will take them months to prepare for an attack and 2 or 3 days to get there .

Sorry Kofi Annan, we will make sure to get a resolution backed by the UN before discussing anymore.
