He enjoyed a decent first season and then appeared from nowhere last January (2011), was in the side until the end of the season and was like a new signing. He was outstanding at the QPR home game in particular; didn't give Tommy Smith - one of the best attacking players in the Championship on his day - a sniff!
But then the season ended, DJ left and then for someone like him who is not a Whittingham or a McNaughton (first-choice), it's back to square one again. It's a shame that he'll probably be moving on in the summer, but he's certainly good enough for another Championship club
By the way, does anyone remember his nasty albeit fantastic challenge on Sinclair away to the jacks last season?
Sinclair would've been away had Quinn not stopped him in his tracks. He was yellow-carded, but it's called taking one for the team. Cynical yes, but a professional foul in every sense! That definitely should've been included in the video!
