Should have gone the season before after losing to the team he manages now 6-0!

Jones has inherited a pretty decent league 1 side, who, like Southampton will probably end up coming up and doing fairly well, but once he's got here - he will feel the pressure and make some of those silly signings again! Will be very interesting to see how he gets on next season.

As for your comment about Malky - I think your way out. He wanted 3 seasons - and he'll get them. Give him this summer, see what happens - and judge him next season when he has HIS squad?

If he gets us to the play off's or just below - He will have done alot better than Jones did in his first season? Wembley final, with 11 signings, new season and a top half (possibly play off) finish?

Judging purely on management ability in comparison to Malky we should definitely have kept Dave Jones. I said many times to the Dave Jones haters that they should be careful what they wish for. Unfortunately DJ had alienated himself from the local media and from a large section of our fans so for those two reasons the time was probably right for him to go both for himself and the club. I have every confidence in him doing a good job wherever he goes but I am yet to be convinced about Malky's ability to become a good manager. Please Malky prove me wrong next season, the season after and after and after.........>>>>
