Are Any Of Our Strikers Good Enough ?

Sun Apr 01, 2012 3:27 pm

Miller - Besides seeming to be first choice and having to do much on his own up front wastes too many opportunities that he does have.

Mason - Too much reliance on his young shoulders, would be a good impact player for 20 minutes at the end of a game.

Rudy - Too raw, other than his height and being able to 'nod on' the high balls has little else to offer with any consistency.

Earnshaw - Yesterday perhaps gave us an understanding why MM has not been using him, the one chance he did have he blasted high and wide and is too greedy along with having 'lost' some of his game.

If I was to pick one player to keep it would be Mason, just to use as a sub.

judging by the goal ratio this season, a def no... rudy should have been loaned out to a league 1 side to get some game time. earnie will be surely leaving in the summer.. miller im not convinced ... mason, young, relied on too much this season at such a young age.

we need at least two new strikers in the summer... this will be the first yr for a while where we have not had a striker in the top goalscorer league..

Our top goal scorer routinely takes the ball off our centre halfs.

At this stage his career Joe is not ready for a top 6 championship team.

Rudy may be championship class in a few years, but not robust enough now.

Earnie - Gone

Kenny, The first half of carrying the attack has left its scars during the second half. Needs help for next season.

NO! Unless you count Joe Mason as a striker in which case my answer would be yes.
