Money talks and bullshit normally resides on internet forums

Contract extension - easily explainable, Malaysians like his plans for the long term, and the progress for the future.
Transfer budget next season - well, obvious it's better to have permanent assets than loans.
Promotion bonuses - clue, all players have them too.
Not used funds - deals fall through for all reasons. Maybe Prem team wanted player to have guaranteed starting place. Maybe the money wanted was deemed too high.
