Stop effing moaning for gods sake

Sat Mar 31, 2012 3:21 pm

Like a f*cking bunch of old apple women..

Theres no easy game this time of the season yes we should always want 3 pts at home but we got a point..

Its not over yet and even if we dont make the play offs we will start again next season with hopefully a few new signings :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
After the big changes at the start of this season we have no god given right to even be where we are now in the league..

How did the moaners survive watching city through the mostly shite days of the 80s and 90s :? :?

In the bad old days winning a game was like winning the World Cup. You went along without much expectations, but if the team won you went home on cloud 9. Even back then though, the striker's new where the goals were.

People need to look at the big picture here and what we had at the beginning of the season.

Amazing.

Some blasted Ridsdale - rightly - for pissing other peoples money up against the wall in a desparate attempt to get promoted to make everything ok.

And then blast Malky/Malaysians/Stewards/Cleaners/birds flying around for not doing the same.

Funny old world that.

Face the reality.

1) As we've seen for seasons, there's no easy game in the Championship. How many here felt West Ham would romp it, hmm?

2) We lost how many players pre season? It's pretty obvious to everybody that the planning is for the long term, not the short term. Financially and on the pitch.

3) Based upon the upheaval at the club, I still firmly believe we've overachieved this season.

4) It's Malkys first season here, having a massive rebuild on his hands. What's more important is the coming pre season, where he can build the squad up having released a lot of the dross on high wages hampering moves.
4) Putting things into context, we're 2 pts off the playoffs, with teams dropping points left right and centre.

As the title say STOP f*cking MOANING other results have gone for us and where still in the races it ain't over till its over, apart from that this season has been a success, new manager had to bring in new players, carling cup final and still in the championship fighting for a playoff spot :ayatollah: :ayatollah: Would any of you thought that at the beginning of the season

Tiger/Nerd

Were moaning about the way we are playing at the moment.

Be honest are you happy with the current football ?

Why are thousands of season ticket holders not turning up, only 15,000 again there today, yet crowd say 21,000 ?

2 wins in last 14, is it good enough ?

Are you happy with our current form ?

Happy? No. There are signs though that are encouraging - Birmingham away I'm informed was a cracking performance, where last season under Jones we'd have given up and not drawn.

First half today was awful, we dominated the second half.

Either way, business end of the season, all points are valuable irrespective of performance.

The crowd figures always reflect tickets sold. That's not been an issue before, when used to bait the Jacks, has it? Equally, people do have other priorities. A mate couldn't make it due to coaching his sons school game, which didn't end till 12:30-1pm.

2 wins in last 14, sure, we're drawing games I'd be liking us to win, equally, teams around us are all dropping points left right and centre.

We've no divine right to go up, we're still in the mix. I believe we've overachieved this season considering the squad / staff turnover. I believe we're hamstrung due to not being able to lower the wage bill by removing fringe players, won't happen till summer.

I believe we've got financial constraints, for very good reason. If we broke the bank, spending money we haven't got as some on here urge, well, that's what Ridsdale did and was roundly criticised on here for doing so.

This is year one of Malky's era at the club. Much like on the pitch, where plenty behind were yelling "get it forward" every damn minute of the game, we need patience. We showed some good passages of play developing things from the back without going the route one approach. Plenty of fans didn't grasp or appreciate that.
