Old Player Chants Converted for New Players?

Wed Mar 28, 2012 1:04 pm

I have been supporting Cardiff Since i was around 5 years old following the great tradition within my family. Over the 2-3 years i have seen the death of songs which are easy to sing and everyone knows.

i have an idea to change chants for old players in to our new players to spark the Atmosphere.

Example. Peter Thorne is Magic he wears a magic hat? Perhaps put Kenny Millers (I know he inst playing great but lets get behind him) name in there and replace Wrexham and jack bastards to Celtic and Rangers?

Can anyone else think of any songs of old that can be changed? Lets be Creative and Enjoy ourselves!

At the moment there is a selection of around 4 songs that are being sung which is poor i must admit! lets get behind the BOYS!

''Ohhhh Whittingham is magic,
he wears a magic hat.
And when we get a free kick,
he says I fancy that.
Sometimes they go over,
and sometimes they go wide.
But when he puts it in the net,
we all go f*cking wild.

Ohhhh Whittingham is magic...."

Another one could be:-

Saw my mate the other day,
said to me seen a white Pele,
so I asked who is he,
he goes by the name of Don Cowie,
Wayne Rooney, Don Cowie,
goes by the name of Don Cowie.

Can we get them going this weekend?
