Money has been as well as the amount of games has not helped this season, your right.

Last season you say we avv 960 away and you 1500,,and you think you are a lot bigger club because of the 540 diffrence?and lets not forget that you have been pushing for promotion for the last 5 years and a cup final,so your fan base should have gone up,however your away support this season is poor however way you skin it,leeds away 360???but less then 900 to bristol is shit, and lets face it that is a big game for you.
Anyway unless you get in to the prem our support is going to leave you behind, after all, all the 50 50 fans will support us and any kid will now be looking at us and so on,the only thing you have over us is a bigger stadium, and plans are going in to put the lib up to over 30 k,

we had restrictions for leeds and had to meet up for the worzel game
so not just a matter of going
i won't go to a game with restrictions out of princible
cant see you getting a bigger fans base fella because a lot of areas link to ccfc is so stong

Even I stopped going to Bristol City away one season, I live 30 mins from Bristol C, yet a few seasons ago we had to meet at our stadium, then wait half hour, then go like tortoises to a meeting point, then wait for 4 coaches at a time to go in, the journey took over 3hrs :o  So the following year I gave it a miss, as to me this is suppose to be a local derby game and bit by bit many Cardiff fans have done the same.

A lot better this year though Annis.

I got a bit confused by actually needing a ticket to get in though, I thought the stewards were bull-sh1tting and went over tho the back gates twice

Got back to bedwas by 8.30 - from a 5.20Pm k.o, faster than getting back from the CCS

Tim, It def was :ayatollah: And if we play them next year I am sure many more will go.

Funny story is Westham just down from the Premier Top 2 and they brought 1,200 to us, we allowed them 1,800. Hmm

Its becoming one of my favourite trips, never seen us lose there !

And my son loved the old-style ground and atmosphere.

You just feel so much more part of it, that close to the action.

Most of the followings to us are rubbish, and all clubs suffer when restrictions are put on them . Yes 800-odd to Bristol looks poor, but they only bring 600 to us on a GOOD day !

its got to be a factor annis.bet your team have done 45 so far this season at least.wembley is great mate but when you add up the tickets ,petrol and food it gets a very dear game.thats without a drink if you partake.even with home draws in the cup you still have to buy the tickets.

That is shocking, 1hour and a bit up the road from you lot
you say you still getting good crowds at home poor form don't come into it or the time ko
it's a pretty much a derby game for you.
Newport would take take more than that and Bristol city for a similar fixture.
your excuses are poor

You can make your own way by car. :ayatollah:
Vince will have a few spare tickets out side the away end or buy yours now down the ticket office.

Lets be brutally honest, that is an appalling number for a match at this stage of the season with you chasing a play off spot against a fellow contender 90 mins up the road and with no restrictions.

All coaches have to go to RV point at 10.15am and once again be escorted in, everyone is fed up of this. A lot of our fans will be having to get up at 6am for a team that is only down the road in my opinion.

It is perfectly normal for coaches to have to go to a RV point to be escorted in. That's a pretty poor excuse. The guys going by car or train don't have to.

As for getting fed up of it, well you shouldn't have caused so much trouble in the past and made a reputation for yourselves. You reap what you sow surely.

Trouble was in the 70's & 80's and early 90's.
Funny you should say that in the 80's with home crowds of 8,000, we would take 2,000 there.

of years gone by , this would have been one of my first trips marked off on the list...

im not going this yr for the following reasons..

1/ last time we went there it was a shit trip..
2/ another away cost all coming out of the same pay.
3/ renewed my season ticket this week.
4/ my son is 2 today...
5/ the football has not been that enjoyable to watch recently so to fork out more cash says it all...
6/ the stupid kick off time and day. football belongs to 3pm on a saturday afternoon...

some of these reasons probably apply to quite a few fans who feel the same... any away following of over 1000 is pretty dam good considering , the cost, the performances of late, the day and kick off time...

well done to all those who are going!! :ayatollah:

Jack Lads.

Come off it boys.

1300 to Brum for a miday kick off on a Sunday aint that bad.

We are getting royaly screwed with our fixtures both home and away.

They screwed us over for West Ham first game of the season when we could have taken 2500-3000 but gave us 1000 tickets and a bubble on a Sunday!

They screwed us over for Leeds Away by making it a bubble, again, on a Sunday.

Out of the Midlands Teams they have given us Derby & Coventry Midweek and Forest on New Years Eve.

Then for Boxing Day when we could have taken loads to Watford they moved it to a Miday Kick Off.

Then in the New Year we have been given Brighton and Southampton both midweek.

Bristol City, you have to go to a meeting point to pick up tickets which rules out the train and now Birmingham on a
Sunday with a Miday Kick Off.

As for Home Games we have only had 5 Saturday Home Games with a 3pm Kick Off all season. That is on
a par of what the Top Four Premier League sides get.

It is shocking, and slowly but surely ruining the experience of following our club.
