Bellers/Jay/Chops - Miller.

Thu Mar 22, 2012 11:13 am

That's the major problem.

We lose 3 players who could score and replace them with one striker.

We then ask that one striker to play a lone role that no one else at the club can play.

It's not Miller's fault.

Lack of investment.

There's been no lack of investment, look at the rebuilding over the summer. There's just been no frivolous spending

Nat, we should of strengthened in Oct/Nov/Jan even Malky stated that. We will now lose out big time in revenue next season.

We all believe that on footballing terms and we're in total agreement. But they see the bank balance and they hold the purse strings, so if they don't believe the club could sustain that spending then that is their prerogative.

However, when you look at the rebilding programme over the summer months you can not honestly say that there has been a 'lack of investment'

I honestly can say there has been a lack of investment when it mattered.

We also had over £3 mill from the Carling Cup.

So it didn't matter in the summer when we only had a squad of 12 first team players???

Nonsense. Malky replaced them. Its his fault he replaced with poorer replacements.

He choose to build a 4-5-1 formation.

Correct Polo and whats worse is that we don't have other options up front. We've needed a proper old fashioned centre forward who can win the ball in the air and hold it up and who do we have..?Rudy who would struggle to get into a Division three team!!!!

We appreciate the money that has been put into the club by the owners/board to keep us going and sort our debts out but there has been very little investment into the team.

Look at the transfer fees of the players brought in. Probably less than 2m combined. We tried to re build on the cheap whereas other teams around us have invested. E.g. Southampton spending 3m on Billy Sharp in the January window. West ham have the parachute payments but they spent a fortune. Likewise with Blackpool they brought quite a few in. Reading have strengthened significantly and Boro. Malky seems to have brought in youngsters for the future whereas as other clubs have shown their ambition to get promoted NOW by bringing in quality signings who can perform at the required level now.

Funny who you love to factor in Carling Cup runs with Malky, but seem to look over a FA Cup with Jones. Its also may have escaped your notice , but our great leader says the Club is running in the red each month to the Tune of over a Million ?.

That 's with record season tickets holders and a smaller squad. Where the money going and what really is our Wage bill and can we really afford to bring in New players ?. You after all wanted us to do a Swansea right ?, Run the Club with in its means Right ?

Malky would never play Jay anyway , but I would have loved to see Chopra and Miller upfront . The Club wants and needs a good kicking for letting Ross and Chopra go. Chopra is in a different class to Miller on and off the pitch

Always was a big Bothroyd fan, can't believe we didn't do what we should of to keep hold of him. CLASS championship striker. We'd probably be at the top of the table somewhere had we have retained his services....

Oh I'm a massive fan of Jay, but even if the Club held on to him, Malky wouldn't play him due to his work ethic.

Shame even a 20% Jay Bothroyd is better than the 100% I'll blast the ball over the Target we have now . Jay got one thing Miller hasn't and that's called Class and class is something Cardiff City lacks in every area bar Whitts and its so telling

Would be great if we had last seasons class with this seasons work ethic. We would be top of the league!

Be no use having them 3 players under Malky he probably play Bellamy in centre midfield and Chopra centre half.

Malky wouldn't play the likes of Bellamy (because he has a social life) or Chopra . Its becoming quite clear than Malky 'Holier than thou' check list and background checks are now a Huge part of the problem with Club finds it self in .

It will no doubt be great for the long term but for the short term its utter just crap . Malky I got news for you mate, You're no Sir Alex
