A forum for all things Cardiff City

Since the wheels came off after the Southampton match we have achieved the following league performance.
Played 10 W2 D3 L5 (9 Points out of a possible 30) when we were a couple of points off the top of the table.
Lets be honest, I am amazed that we are still in the position we are. We are not good enough to go up and we don't deserve to go up after our last 3 home performances. We have been outplayed by two average teams and a bottom 3 team. To compensate for the Hull and Burnley games you would have thought that Malky would have gone for it last night and try for a 3/4 goal win to boost confidence against a poor Coventry team. Instead we got a negative team selection (4-5-1) with Earnie, Rudy and Conway on the bench. For the first 30 mins of the second half we were battered and found ourselves to be very fortunate to go 2-1 up. Coventry dominated possession, hit the bar and missed a penalty.
Why have we reverted to negative tactics? It is very disappointing at the moment. Lets hope things improve.
