Wed Mar 21, 2012 11:41 pm

When asked are we going to sign any new players on loan, he replied im going to make some phone calls but unless somthing pops out, i think we will go with what we got ..........

f*cking Pathetic attitude, is he being backed or not ?
are TG and VT over here to oversee any tranfers targets , they were both at the game tonight.

He's not being backed and its about time he come out himself and said it because his credibility is going downhill quickly amongest fans.

I cant understand why he does not come out with that if he is not being backed.

According to Malky we were 'excellent' in the first half!!!!! We were dire! Completely clueless! Wake up Malky! You've been brilliant so far this season don't blow it now. We all know that performance and the previous two were shocking so hold your hands up and move heaven and earth to get a winger and a striker in tomorrow!

He should not mislead the fans though. That is worse.

if they would'nt back him in in jan (in the position you were in), they are unlikely to do it now ;)

I agree, it's so frustrating with a couple of decent loans we could make the play off's comfortably

We was excellent in the first half with McPhail pulling the strings, although despite our dominance in the first half Coventry still had a couple of great chances. Second half Coventry came at us from the off, McPhail tired and went off and it was all downhill from there performance wise.

'excellent'??? Really????? Would you call that first half performance excellent??? We did nothing! We didn't create a chance and just kept passing sideways and backwards In our half! We were playing a team in the relegation zone and we looked clueless! We were average at best but nowhere near 'excellent'

You must have been watching a different first half. We did one passing move in the first half which must have been between 20-25 passes, which ended with McPhail sliding the ball through to create a chance. We controlled the first half but Coventry still had a couple of good chances to score, but on general play we controlled the half and dominated possession.

One move in 45 minutes at home against a team in the relegation zone does not equal an 'excellent' first half! Considering the opposition we were average at best!

actually we were lot better 1st half well in comparison to recent games one passage play we had 25 passes before just missing, second half went to type defend defend so dont be surprised when we concede as we always make mistakes which cost us.

But it wasn't just that one move, that was one example of several good moves we did in the first half. You seem to be the only one who thinks we looked "clueless" in the first half. Granted, second half we struggled and Coventry were more than worth their draw overall with their second half performance, but I thought we looked excellent in the first half.

We were playing COVENTRY at home and were 1.0 up at half time thanks to an own goal and I can't remember us making there keeper make a save! Do you really think that display was 'excellent'? Thats all I'm saying! It wasn't the worst I've seen us play but considering the opposition and we were at home it surely couldn't be described as anywhere near one of our better displays! We can pass the ball sideways and backwards as well as any team but in the final third we are seriously lacking ideas!

The first half was a huge improvement on any of our matches since the Carling cup final IMO, but our defending in the second half for their goals was shocking!

I can see why Marshall stayed on his line against Hull, when McNaughton headed the ball into his own net for their first goal now, having seen his attempt at trying to punch clear the ball from their corner, which led to their penalty!

Hudson then did a Gerrard, by "Clearing" the ball to the edge of the penalty area for their first equaliser and after Whitts put us back in front, we sat back, defended too deep, nobody went to close down their loanee, who then hit a decent shot past Marshall, who I felt should have saved it! :x

I agree with this as we actually retained possession rather than hit aimless 35yard passes but we just didn't have the final ball -couldn't tell if Mason was offside when he got thru ?

Not blaming them for result but another poor showing by the officials again ! The linesman on the Ninian side had a nightmare!

Dont get me wrong, the actual attempt to play football in the first half compared to the clueless hoofing it up to Kenny Miller in previous games was an improvement. But still, when we had the ball this is generally what happened, keeper to Hudson to Turner to Taylor to Turner to Hudson to midfield player who dropped deep, repeat - after repeating a few times, and realising that virtually no one is moving to make space for themselves the ball is passed back to Marshall we hoofs the ball clear or Turner gets frustrated and tries a 70 yard cross field ball. One or two times we actually did break into the oppositions half passing the ball but then looked devoid of ideas in the final 3rd.

At least we were trying to play but I wouldnt call it scintillating stuff and it most certainly wasnt an 'excellent' display. But agreed, second half resorted to lets hoof the ball to the small lone striker!
