Much like the San Siro. Doesn't seem to have had a negative effect on the 2 Milan clubs though

Don't see why anyone on here would care really.
What happens if you go down and go back to averaging under 15k again like your promotion season?

Ours is nearly full while 15k would be only half full.

Please explain yourself. If we are playing in the premier league (possibly europe), with larger crowds than you, how can the jacks be Wales' no2? Other than in your own little minds that is. Please don't say coz you won the F.A cup in the year dot.

We all know on a level footing the jacks can never compete with us. :D :D

We will be on a level footing one way or another within the next couple of seasons I reckon. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Even with a 30,000 stadium I can't for the life of me see them filling it other than the top 4 clubs anyway.(most of them will be there to see the top 4 and not swansea anyway) :toothy7:

At this moment in time you do not have more seats paid for than us.
We are consistently the highest placed club in Wales.
We are not a couple of seasons above our closest Welsh rivals, but the last run was a decade.

We're better than you, soon to be bigger than you, and that's all you've goto cling on to is those old gypo insults? Not even that works for you.

You obviously need reminding...

There are 8.0625 gypsies in Cardiff for every 1 in Swansea. FACT.

It say's he MIGHT TRY AND APPLY for planning permission.............

TG could make a statement like we are thinking of signing messi, which would mean f all either.........

By the looks of it he is testing the water, who is going to pay for the tax payers ??? because it is not your stadium ???

He has to speak to the Rugby and Council, so don't get your hopes up........

Perhaps I should explain that I was replying to the quote from richardbluebird, that the jacks will "always be no2". I'm not disputing that you currently get more in than us, but things are changing fella, and with a proposed increase to 30,000 down the liberty, and the prospect of premier league football for a few years at least, Cardiff city will not be able to hold a candle to the mighty jacks. Always by no2... my arse!

will you get approval from the council considering most councils across the country have to reduce spending?
how do the Ospreys feel are they happy to increase the capacity in their stadium aswell?
Lots of hurdles there good luck with that

You are aware that there are many thousands on the waiting list for a swans season ticket yes? It would be folly indeed, given what I think we can now safely say is a minimum of another premiership season, not to seriously consider increasing capacity. Huw's the man, and if he says we need to increase, then who are you or I to argue? :D

magic,

how many current season ticket holders do you have??

Re: Liberty capacity to be increased to 30,000+?

I am not going to go with the insults. To the Jacks on here how are they going to expand. I am on the understanding that you will need to completely demolish say one stand and re do the footings, and how long would it take to demolish do the footings and rebuild a new stand. And what would be the capacity whilst work is being done.

Wolves are managing it but for them they had 4 different stands not attached, but yours is a bowl.

But just to say; we can cheaply and quickly expand our stadium to 35.000 and it could be done in the close season as everything is in place to do so. So please don't give the large one.

ok cheers....

so if you have around 16000 current season ticket holders , and so many waiting for season ticket holders, i still think you will struggle to fill 30000.. thats hoping for alot of walk ups and i dont see where these will come from...

currently we have 18500 season ticket holders and our average attendance this yr is around 22-23k. bearing in mind we have a slightly larger catchment area for fans i find it hard to believe you will get 30k..
