" Rudy Gestede fitness boost for Cardiff City promotion bid "

Rudy Gestede is set to give Cardiff City a timely fitness boost ahead of the club's Championship clash at home to Coventry City on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old French striker suffered a hamstring injury in the 2-0 defeat to West Ham United on 4 March.
And since then he has missed four matches of which Cardiff have only taken five points out of a possible 12.
Gestede's fitness is a boost as on-loan midfielder Haris Vuckic has gone back to Newcastle United.
And with a home defeat to Hull and a draw to Burnley the Bluebirds need to start turning round their results if they want to end up in the play-off zone at the end of the season.
Gestede has scored three goals in 25 games in his first season in the English league.







Personally I think Earnie & Miller will work better but Malky knows best, does he?

I don't think earnie will be on the bench of rudy is available.

More hoofball served up for the Coventry game again, Gestede runs around for 35 mins then gets hamstrung again !

If Miller isn't on the bench Wednesday he never will be.

I'd love to see him play Earnie & Mason from the start with Rudy & Kenny on the bench. In reality though, I can see Rudy being on the bench but Miller starting in a 4-5-1 & Earnie not in the squad.

Malky has always preferred Rudy over Earnie so I wouldn't be surprised to see Miller and Rudy upfront in a 4-4-2. Would personally like to see Miller and Earnie up front.

MM will keep the same boring 50% effort side with no closing down and lots off hoofball from are 18 yard line where we camp these days. I do not expect any change in formation either seems its been the same side near enough and formation for two f*cking months if MM can not see it needed changing 5games ago so whats the diffrence now, we have no hope

Just thinking about it, He won't start him. Needs the last 15mins if we are winning. His hamstring is very susceptible, its still pretty cold.
