Charitable Auction for Carling Cup final Ticket

Hi all,

I have one £56 ticket available for the Carling Cup final, its up on the top tier along the side of the pitch in line with the edge of the box. My brother bought the ticket hoping to travel back for the weekend from his job in Nigeria but unfortunately things haven`t worked out so he's not been able to. He's paid me in full for the ticket and doesn't want to be reimbursed but has instead asked that any money raised by its sale go to two of the charitable projects that the Church I belong to operates within the Rhondda. My bro isn't a christian but can see the benefits that these projects have been having on the Rhondda.

The first is Christians Against Poverty (http://www.capuk.org) which is a free debt counselling services administered locally by members of my Church but then backed by a team of trained professionals in Bradford. As well as the debt counselling they teach people money management skills, will help to restructure finances and get the creditors off your back. The aim is then to get the person debt free within 3 to 5 years. If you need help then you can ring them on 0800 328 0006.

The second is food bank (http://www.trusselltrust.org). The web site will give you an overall view of the national project and we run the Rhondda branch. We provide 3 days of nutritionally balanced food to families facing short term emergencies and who are unable to put food on the table.

With about 30 to 40 members we took a collection one month before Christmas to purchase a building to help us provide these services to the local community and raised £50k, so some amazing things happening here!!!

Bidding starts at the price of the ticket £64 and the winner will be the person with the highest bid at 12 mid day on friday at which point I'll pm the winner, get their details and arrange the exchange for either friday night or on Saturday. I'll even throw in a free copy of my debut album!!!
