WHO SHOULD MAKE THE CITY TEAM VS. LIVERPOOL?

What's your preferred team for the Wembley final? I personally am questioning whether or not Gestede should start, simply because he's a threat in the air and could cause one or two problems for Skrtel and Agger.

In all honesty I'd like Malky to mix it up a bit with the following team, should everyone be fit:

Heaton.
McNaughton/Blake, Hudson, Turner, Taylor.
Gunnarsson, McPhail, Whittingham.
Mason.
Gestede, Miller.

For us to stand a chance we must control midfield and exploit the lack of a defensive edge to their central midfield.

My only thinking is similar to Palace, Liverpool may expect this and MM may still flood the midfield but play Gestede so Turner's long balls have a target:



Personally I think this might be a mistake as Gestede is too inexperienced to play against CB's like Skrtel and Agger and we might not get much joy.

But those are basically my thoughts.

But I would have the midfield as:

Would have been great if Vuckic wasnt cup tied. As he's used to playing against Premiership opposition, in slower build up matches, and would give us a huge boost

Love that graphic thing.

The second version will be a cricket score. We are awful at playing against a full on 433. The first version is what i would expect as we will need to help the full backs.

For this game I would go 442 long and direct.
