Cardiff City poem: "The bluebird and the old lady"

Mon Feb 20, 2012 11:24 am

The bluebird will always dream to dare,
With their ode to the pick and shovels,
They will always be there.

European nights are now a prayer,
Eternally they’re reminiscing on Clark’s magic,
They will always care.

The forgotten old lady was to beware,
A lady pungent with intimidation,
She will always be there.

Forever together in a dream they share,
Always facing near tragedy together as one,
They will always be there.

The bluebird's heart is in need of repair,
In the face of adversity it will once again fly,
They will always care.

Through glory and defeat,
They will always be there,
They will always care,
And she will always be there.
