LOVENKRANDS LOAN TO CARDIFF CITY...

Peter Lovenkrands is the latest player named with a loan move from Newcastle to Cardiff City.

Lovenkrands has just returned from a calf injury and wants first team football.

Is this a good or bad move for our club ??

Yeah I thought that, be a good move for him.

He looked good in a Newcastle team that walked the Championship, but he had the players around him to look good. I think of him doing quite well with Rangers, but then getting released from the Bundesliga as he couldn't cut it. I think he's a decent player, but would he be any better than what we've got? I'm undecided, but he can also play on the left wing and we need wingers. Interesting.

I Knew about the Earnie interest to the MLS - 3 weeks ago but did not post as his heart at the time was to try and get into this team/squad.

It was also mentioned on Radio Wales this morning who also mention Earnie could be on his way to the MLS to play for Vancouver .

I posted on here on deadline day about the ernie to whitecaps deal. As for lovenkrands, this possibly could be the papers putting 2+2 together knowing we allready have 1 newcastle player on loan and knowing lovenkrands wants 1st team football. But if it is true, I'd be happy. Can play out wide or up top and be a big asset to us this season. Is he cup tied ?

He scored 19 goals in 2009 60 odd appearances though!!

Yep, I remember that post. As for lovenkrands - A proven performer at this level, He would be an asset to us, however anybody would be at the moment cos our players really are looking jaded.

Vuckic knows Lovenkrands and has played many games with him do they would link up well. I also think MM is trying to make a plan B as well as some teams are sussing out our 4-5-1 formation etc etc maybe a switch to 4-4-2 with these players will do us good? (assuming we get him or another proven striker!)
