I was amazed to see him out on loan earlier in the season, quality player.

TopCat i could just never even have come close to believing that it would be possible for us to sign him!!

I honestly thought that if Blackpool would for some strange reason be happy to let him go, it would be to a top Premier League club for millions of pounds!!

If we sign him at this price it could turn out to be one of the best bits of business in this club's history in my opinion

im trying not to get too excited incase it doesnt happen, cos in my mind i still dont quite believe that this will end up happening given everything ive mentioned about how low the price and how good he is, but i just cant help getting excited to be honest

In my opinion he's like a quicker, less greedy, harder working version of Jimmy Kebe (with a better final delivery for crosses too), and he doesnt half bang in a goal or two for a winger!! he's certainly one that would get the fans excited and EXACTLY what we need right now

Maybe just can not get my head around us bidding so little for noone knowing hes worth well over 1million and phillips whos worth probly double this even more considering prem clubs was/are watching him,somethings not rite becuase its out there now and anyone who wants a gamble will buy him before us maybe for more money or its a better option for the player who knows.What i do know is this we are bidding low its getting made public then its rejected which gives other clubs the chance to move fast ,thats why i said somethings not rite

Someone I met up Blackpool who I keep in touch with says she's not too sold on Phillips. Apparantly he wanted to get into the team, so on loan at Sheff Utd he scored in every single game to prove a point. Then Blackpool took him back and although he scored two hat-tricks since, he also has his days where he doesn't want to know. This surprises me as Malky won't have anyone like that. I will trust Malky's judgement over this Blackpool fans judgement any day! I remember Man City subbing Kolorov because Phillips ran him ragged and Kolorov couldn't handle him, that's good enough for me!
