Nathan Blake, "it's about how the fans perform".

Mon Jan 23, 2012 11:42 am

Just reading Nathan Blake's column in the Echo, he states in it "It's not just about how the team perform, it's about how the fans perform". "If they can crank up the atmosphere right from the warm up through to the start of the game and beyond then I think Cardiff will win by 2 or 3 goals"
It would be a nice change if fans were to come into the stadium a little earlier than normal and start making some big noise while the players are warming up, because make no mistake about it the Palace fans will be there in big numbers and will be creating an atmosphere well before the KO. A lot of City fans come into the stadium right on or very near to KO time, it would be nice for once to generate some noise a bit earlier just to gee the players up cos up the other end of the stadium the Palace players will be getting some real support right from their warm up through to KO and beyond from 3,800 travelling fans, it could be a big advantage to them as we get to KO time and it would only be 1 pint less for our fans to come into the stadium a little earlier.

Excellent Idea for everyone to set off a little earlier than they normally would without having to miss out on their pre-match rituals, whether it be a quick bite to eat in McDonalds, or a pint nearby in Canton. It would be a favour returned to our club, players & manager if we could repay them with our form, for the efforts they have put in over the last few months trying to take us forward and almost to Wembley! Lets arrive that little bit earlier in the stadium and crank up the atmosphere before the Palace fans settle into their chants and songs supporting their players warming up.

I think as fans of CCFC, it's the least we could do for them, and to push them over that final hurdle to get a much deserved FIRST EVER league cup final.

See you all in the Ninian at 6pm tomorrow night! :ayatollah:
