Do you honestly think people are born and their dream is to be addicted to drink or drugs? In my experience people who are addicted would love to stop, however after years of using whatever it is difficult for them people usually they are using drink or drugs to mask/hide some traumatic event in their life. It nullifys the pain

quite a narrow minded comment really.. Like splott said, people dont see that they might end up dirty filthy smackheads, homeless with no one or nothing when they first try certain drugs.. Usually experimental and become addicted.. Others can take drugs once and leave it at that.. Has nothing to do with will power or self control whatsoever.. Addicts have a disease and an allergy towards drugs.

Totally agree mate glad you have recovered and turned your life around. Respect
its got f**k all to do with being politically correct. Again narrow minded.. My feelings here come from being one of these "lifes losers" as you call them/us.. I was addicted to crack, heroin, alcohol and anything else i could get inside me.. I've been clean for over 8 years since leaving rehab...I come from a good family, am educated yet once i get drink or drugs inside me I havent the power to stop.. I help other like myself and own my own business.. Its a miracle im still here.. You wanna blame someone blame the people that bring it into the country, blame the dealers and the government. Addicts are at the end of the line in a global epidemic.. What addicts do is terrible, th way they live , the crimes all of it, however u ask any addict if they'd rather be in the gutter or be clean with a nice house, good job, and without the need to get up every morning dying and i wonder what answer you'd get

no the cunts should be locked away or smacked f**k out of i agree with you... All im saying is theres a bigger picture.. There are doctors, nurses, lawyers and people across every walk of life addicted to drugs. People should pay for the shit they do, I had to and always will live with the consequences.. A;ll im sayin is a lot of these people start out decent people, good jobs, familys etc
