Help needed re Garden fence

Sat Jan 14, 2012 1:45 pm

My garden fence blew down last week with the wind.
We've had a few quotes re a new fence but are being asked for silly amounts.
Does anyone know of a decent company who is not looking to rip us off?

hello m8, i live on brighton sea front and my gaff gets battered big time by the wind, even got hit by a hurricane 20 odd years ago :D . do yourselve a favour and have concrete posts with the slits down the side, your fence will stay solid forever, there about 12 quid each on the net, though you might need an angle grinder to cut to size. with the slits on either side yo can just slide the panels in and out so it will be easy to maintain as well. wood rots as we know so put a couple of small stones between the panels and the grass. hope this helps and i avent bored you to death  :ayatollah:
