Cutting Edge - Whitts

Would the team benefit more by Whitts playing further forward. If Malky continues to play a diamond formation or 451 variation with Whitts at the tip of the diamond or a 4231 variation where he could support the striker more and the team possibly have more of a cutting edge especially in the final 1/3rd of play.

Yes i thought Whitts was playing too deep last night and although he had plenty of the ball it wasn't in an area that could hurt Palace

I disagree. Whitts WAS picking the ball up deep, but had plenty of the ball just outside the final
third too. Very very difficult to pick out a defence splitting pass when the opposition are all sat
back behind the ball
