Gerrard to have another go then. Good luck to the lad, he's done pretty well when filling in in recent games. Hudson had a hamstring problem a few weeks ago - wonder if he came back to early ?

IF Gerrard does well then Hudson might find it more difficult to get his place back this time - (and I'm one who thinks Hudson is the better player) . Be wrong to drop him if we keep another clean sheet.

Blake may possibly get a crack at Right Back as well. Another who has something to prove.

Onto Kiss and we deseperately need strengthening in CM - I'm sure he's been only half-fit for months now. Is McPhail available now ?
