Byrne's goals were in Eire rather than Northern Ireland which is a stronger league, and he was 28 rather than 19 .
However I think Swansea are going to sign a much much better prospect on loan in the next few days as this lad is available for loan now, and Rogers was after him earlier in the season and knows him from working with him when he was at Chelsea...

josh mceachran, i like the look of this lad.... would be a good signing for many clubs...
