Why do people persist with a) Boyd who isn't good enough and b) link with Miller angles.

We've a formation working well with one up front in Miller, with Cowie, Conway playing off.

Why change something that's working?

because if you have someone in the side who could possibly add 15 goals to the side, for free. Then why not give it a try.

Robbie Fowler could possibly add 15 goals.
Eddie Johnson could possibly add 15 goals.

Let's get them too.

Free? Well, aside from the signing on fee.

But, hey, ho, let's just drop a formation that has been successful for us. We might get 15 goals.

Boyd has always been massively overrated. Scoring against poor sides in Scotland. Try taking a look at his record against Celtic. Not that impressive. Nothing more than average in the Championship.

Always easy to waste other people's money, I suppose.

Not for or against Boyd, I leave that up to MM but in no way is it a case of him being "free"
More than likely he will ask for a signing on fee and very good wages. No such thing as free in football.
If anything those that are signed on free transfers cost clubs even more.

People critcised DJ for using the same formation and having no plan B and MM is open to new formations which we need.
If Gestede was fit for Coventry we would have won and Miller got smashed against Forest utter rubbish that game plus Mason got the winner luckily! :ayatollah:

Kris Boyd is a good player. However I can't help thinking that Malky will have his eye on someone much better.

Malky is, of course, an exceptional manager and I believe his sights will be aimed much higher.
