Conway CAN play CM. Not saying he should stick in and around the centre cirlce, he can easily push out wide, or he could swap with Whitts.
And as for Earnie, have you ever seen him hold the ball up as good as Miller? Miller can hold the ball up and Earnie can use what pace he has to get into the box.
These are only suggestions as we are short in midfield, especially if Cowie doesn't feature, so we have to make do with what we've got

if cowie is fit, and whitts is available id like to see mason brought in for conway... but trying cowie in the middle and mason out right..

if its not working the flexibility is then there to switch mason and cowie back. another option is pushing taylor further forward and naylor at left back.. but conway is not looking up to it at the moment.. . no pace, cant track back, cant beat a man, heavy touch and way to predictable..
