"Dirty" Coal still rules

These are interersting stats. Here's how we generate electric in the UK:

Coal 50.6%
Gas 24.0%
Nuclear 15.2%
Wind 3.7%
Interconnectors 3.7%
Pumped Storage 1.1%
Hydro 1.6%

The only difference now is we buy our coal from other countries at a much higher price now that we are held to ransom.

Indeed we do

We buy coal from countries like Germany who adopted new technology and
are able to go deeper and safer than we ever did.

Now, to re-open old mines that have flooded and collapsed over the years
would cost billions and billions of £££...

And guess who the cunts would have to go cap in hand to...

You guessed it.. the very communities Thatcher tried her best to destroy.

The GREAT British Establishment would sooner go cap in hand to the Germans
than to the miners
