I don't care what Rooney's reasons were for doing it (I think they are claiming he was under extraordinary stress or something after his family member's arrest), he should just have the 3 games ban. Considering players have missed Champions League finals and World Cup finals for a lot less, it's a bit of a joke.

i dont blame rooney for appealing though he definitely deserved to get sent off and get banned,its those hypocritical wankers at the f.a. that wouldve banned him if that happened in the premier league they would have given him the same ban and probably wouldve added an extra game to that ban had he appealed it because they would say it was a frivolous appeal,but now that its england that has to miss him ,they decide to appeal,i hope they take him and lose their first 2 games so taking him will be irrelevant
