How the hell Rooney gets his 3 match ban reduced to 2 pisses me off, IMO should have made it 6 on appeal.
it was so intentional the book should have been thrown at him.

I personally want to see the best in the tournament, so I'm pleased with it. Even if it wasn't deserved.

well i Agree with Daglish this morning, where does this leave the so called respect campaign.
also it seems to me that this punishment is a reflection on our whole society......you can Rape Pillage and even murder and get a lesser sentence on appeal......i don't think rooneys tackle was that bad, but to Kick a player from behind delibretly was awful.

It stinks, mate. Every time I see this player on the telly, he's always having a go at the ref.
Football has been tainted a lot with corruption in recent times and this does nothing to improve the image.
Another sad day for football.

Well they have set a precedent now haven't they - made a rod for the own backs, as every tom dick and harry it happens to in future will scream blue murder if they dont get their bans reduced as well.....
think its disgraceful and there shouldn't even be a right to appeal it, but unfortunately there has to be rights to appeal. As they say, Do the crime, Do the time.
