Had great support from here for Cleverlys last fight against Bellew with a few buying tickets and travelling up on the bus but this time it'll be a lot closer to home!
Nathan will be defending his WBO title @ the Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff on Saturday 25th Feb. Opponent to follow.....
Great news for Welsh fight fans!!

Its the same day as England vs Wales @ Twickenham (or wherever they now play)in the 6 nations too.
Thats gonna lose a % of fans that would've supported Clev

His people could've picked a quieter weekend, but I'm sure it'll still be well supported. Very good boxer and well liked.

I agree..... City are at home to Hull (worst case!!

) so hopefully a few of the fans will attend the boxing after the footy.
i'm just glad he's got a fight in Wales. It'd been LONG overdue!!

If the script goes to plan with Froch vs Ward on Saturday and Ward is victorious, Cleverly will be the only UK fighter that is a current World Champion!!

Nathan Cleverlys third title defence is to be against American-based Pole Andrzej Fonfara (only 2 losses from 22 fights) at Cardiff's Motorpoint Arena on Saturday 25th February!!!!
Admittedly not the most glamorous of fights but its a home coming and will be a fantastic night regardless

Looks like we jumped the proverbial gun regarding opponent and one is set to be confirmed soon!
Tickets are now on sale via the Motorpoint Arena Box office priced at £40, £50, £75 and £120 Ringside. Looks like they're selling fairly well already considering no opponent has been announced. Lee Selby has been confirmed on the undercard which is a great addition!
If anyone is local and wants tickets, PM me and i can supply. We've ordered a batch today and so hopefully should get them tomorrow depending on Royal Snail xmas postal service!!
We will also get a batch to the CCFC box office for sale early in the New Year, as per the last fight vs Bellew.

I think its going to be a brilliant day/night and tickets really are flying out! I think my neighbours think my gaff is a drug den with all the coming and goings of so many people, plus its in Llanrumney so that doesnt help

Just a quick update for anyone interested - People wishing to buy tickets can now buy directly from CCFC Box Office or on their online ticket page, link below.
https://www.eticketing.co.uk/cardiffcity/default.aspxThe way tickets are currently going i'm fully expecting a big crowd to cheer on the Welsh boys. Frankie Gavin is also a great addition to the Undercard.

If your based in Cardiff then PM me and i can sort out tickets no prob! I'm sure 'Nuclearblue' can testify its all above board coz hes already had tickets off me! Otherwise you can get them from the CCFC box office, Ticketmaster or the Frank Warren website but i think youll pay booking fees with all and we thats something that we dont charge.....

Frank Warren promotions have advised that there are less than 1000 tickets left for this show, and with almost 6 weeks still to go before fight night thats really good going! I'm hearing that the figure is closer to 750 tickets left though (since FW made the announcement) so they're flying out.
