Is it wise to travel to Millwall solo

Thu Nov 24, 2011 12:01 pm

I desperately want to go to this one, but my mates are not going so may travel on my own by train. Is this wise?

I'm sure I'll bump into people on the way and know the area quite well. :?:

If you keep quiet and don't wear colours nothing will happen.
If you go via train you'll probably get put in the escort so again nothing will happen.

When you get off at South Bermondsey, there is a tunnel that takes you straight to the away end :o  :ayatollah:

Why don't you ask other forum members how they are going to the wall and maybe you can either hire a car, or if you have enough interest hire a minibus. I am sure if you asked for help on here, someone is bound to run a bus or knows someone who is. If you do go on your todd, keep your head down. ATB. Reeco

Bit too early for me mate, I'd be bolloxed by 8.25am

If I do go by train I was going to head out about 11 ish or might even drive as it will be cheaper. Just bought my ticket so got two weeks to decide. may even have a car share going on if anyone who doesnt drink wants to drive me back ?

London Bridge to South Bermondsey on the Southern network is the easiest and safest, few minutes walk with an escort, it's also all fenced off.
Other options are Overground to Surrey Quays or New Cross Gate which ends up with a 15 minute walk and no escort.

Not sure, I live locally so I'm meeting some Millwall in a pub before the game and then slipping into the away end.
Apparently the 1927 club are all meeting in the woolpack pub at London bridge according to a poster above.
