MALKY'S LOAN TARGET

In a press conference today Malky Mackay has revealed he hopes to bolster his Cardiff City squad before the emergency loan window closes.

The Bluebirds manager has made 11 signings, 10 permanently and one on-loan, since succeeding Dave Jones in June after the loss of 12 players.

The loan window closes at 1700 GMT on Thursday and Mackay will not be able to add anyone until the transfer window opens again in January.

"We've had a couple of options bubbling," said Mackay.

"It is something that is on-going and we're doing everything in our power to get them through but sometimes it is not finances, it is things out of our control."

As I have said for quite some time Malky and his team have been working extremely hard to bring a player in and at the game last night I did tell a few people privately about a player I am told Malky is hoping to tie up and that it was expected to be done today.

An issue that has held the deal up has been international clearance, as of yesterday afternoon that is where we were at but all things going well we could see a new signing tomorrow morning.

So that means the player is not British,but could still be playing in English leagues?
