Lets get Earnie back!

when you say dave jones said compete with, do you mean someone as cover for him, as signing earnie would prob mean hed be 4th choice behind jay,chops, and rosco.

Earnshaw is better than McCormack, without a doubt.

both are quality players, but i think earnie has had a few quiet seasons, (although he did get a hatrick today) and ross is still young and his best years are still to come, and they will hopefully be in city colours.

I would say ross is a better all round player than earnie,

Earnie as cover for Jay, defintly not. If you want cover for Jay you need someong big, strong and holds the ball well, someone like Kris Boyd and i heard Daniel Cousin name mentioned. If Earnie came he would be 3rd choice behind chops and ross. Although i do think Earnie is still quality. He is a totally different player to Jay and would not be good competition for him.
