best - west brom away 2 maybe 3 seasons ago, the day vince did a protest. me and my bro went up early afternoon and got steaming, and went into some pretty unfriendly places, got chased out of one pub dog and hound maybe then went into the next pub seemed nice then every hooligan in west brom rocked up and we wernt welcomed there either and we won 2-0 i think was a great day, wont forget it to quick.

worst. preston every year shit place!

Best maybe Leeds away last year, my fav was Stockport away though, oddly only thing I remember about that game was Jenkins swallowing his tongue but it was a great day out and a nice pie

Worse without a doubt MK Dons back at the ice rink then poored with rain, by far the coldest ive ever been, half the city fans left by half time to go to pub we wont 1-0 though Gary Croft I think.

Oh actually maybe Stoke away where our RAMS coach only made it to City road think we won that day 4-1?? never actually been to Stoke thinking about it.

Loads to chose from but one does pop up frequently when remembering the day, Gloucester away in the early 90's, think it was an FA Cup game.It was midweek & there were city fans everywhere, mental night & we won.
Worst one, well in the late 80's i saw quite a few but Mansfield away was a nightmare, rain & gale force winds (i think we won 1-0) still, what a shit-hole!

My favorite place to visit is Sheff Wed, but obviously that wasnt my favorite away trip because we missed out on the play offs that day, was quite funny playing football on a closed motorway though.

Best is probably Newcastle away, absolutely amazing weekend.

Worst is probably Doncaster away last year or the year, dont know why, probably wasnt pissed enough.

My best - Derby Away (Play off final season) although we lost 2-0 it was a great day with everyone in fancy dress
My worst - Charlton Athletic a few years back (my first away game) we lost 3-0 and it took us 4 hours to get home

Best - Swansea last season
Worst - Newcastle a couple of seasons back, losing 5-1. 8 hours there, 8 hours back on coach. Nightmare.

Bristol 0 - 6 Cardiff

Not just for the score, it was just a great night.. cold but brilliant.

I'll never forget the interaction with the nearby soldiers and the pre match warm up ball @Bristol fans "Don't you wish you had a ball? don't you wish you had a ball."

So many good and bad aways over the years .... best has to be the 4 - 0 win at Millwall back in early 80's on a sunny Sunday afternoon , great day out .

1 of the worst was Exeter away in a League Cup match many years ago , it pissed down with rain all nite too and we lost !

Worst was in the mid 70s , we played Carlise away at Christmas time , we were 3 - 1 up with 6 minutes to go and they brought on a sub who scored a hat trick. We got back to the coach to find one of the windows smashed. It was a cold December and a long 8 hour drive back . Those were the days

leeds away this season gets the worst award from me,just the way we were treat like criminals,overcharged(even the 4 quid from a programme consisting solely of the days when leeds used to be famous got to be me aswell) etc
losing 3-0 last season to an average bristol city side was very bad

Best Away- Millwall last season, Thanks Carl for letting us see all the London Tourist sites on the way home
Worst- Hartlepool in 1999 left Cardiff 7.00 got to the ground 3.30 as our bus driver got lost on the way finally got home 2.00 in the morning to be met by my ex Wife asking if i was Clinically Insane for following City all that way:lol:

best was winning at palace ,biggest away following ive seen ,the alston and evans years and the worst carlisle losing 4-3 after being 3-1 up minutes to go .their winning goal was scored with a scuffed shot which crawled between our rb brian attleys legs

Been to some great aways-My top 5 would be Wolves when we won 3-2 (Kav scored a screamer), Exeter (Sam's 1st game) and Barnsley FA Cup Semi Final, our 1st visit to madjeski won 1-0 and Hereford in mid 80s. All victories for ccfc which helped.

The worst 5 have to be play off final v blackpool, Wigan away (lost 3-0 on a tuesday night and froze my bollocks off), watford 8 years ago (lost 2 last minute goal and froze my bollocks off), Bristol Rovers (Freight rover lost 3-0 and froze my bollocks off) and Reading a few years ago (lost 2 or 3-1 and we were shite-no heart/desire)

Best would be Middlesbrough in the cup quarter final. Knowing we were going to Wembley was brilliant.

Worst was Darlington away in the 1990's. We lost 2-0 and after the game 50 Darlo fans thought it would be a good laugh to bully me and my two mates. The fact we never ran really pissed them off but in truth we were bricking it. Never been so glad to see coppers who escorted three of us to station. Had a hatred for them ever since and I was glad when they dropped out the league.

Best away game was QPR last season (lost 2-1) brilliant day out, untill we got to Cardiff when I found out a very close friend had died.

Worst away - Arsenal away in the F.A cup. it was f*cking horrible!!

anyone Remember reading F.a cup reply away mid 90's . we lost on penalty's filled their away section , gutting, but an proper laugh!

Brighton 78 or 79 I think. lost 5-0. i got chucked into Brighton End by O.B took a right hiding and nearly missed the bus back to Caerphilly. Dai Dogs held the bus when he saw me running after it with about 20 Brighton on my tale!

Best Scunthorpe 93 without a doubt got home on the Monday

Burnley (horrible place) last game of last season, just a little blotto, spent the entire game in the back of a windowless police van, had my hip flask for company though! Then they bunged my mate in to join me after he went stumbling around looking for me! As Carl made me say a million times "you couldn't write it!"

Best away, Emirates a few years ago in the cup. City fans having a sing off outside two facing pubs, other side of the road. Good trip.
