Daily Mail issues apology

Fri Oct 28, 2011 5:44 pm

to Peter Ridsdale

An article dated 27 September 2011 suggested that former Cardiff City Chairman Peter Ridsdale had broken a promise to fans that their ticket money would be spent on new players. Mr Ridsdale has assured us that this promise was not made by him personally or with his authority. We apologise to Mr Ridsdale and are happy to set the record straight.

But this is what Ridsdale said in an article that was written in the South Wales Echo on January 6th 2010

“We will be bringing in new players this month, I can guarantee that.

“I would go so far as to say that come January 31, we will be holding a press conference to parade the players we have brought in during the month.”

So if I give it on good authority that he was behind this plan to fleece everyone, will they change their outlook again?

Bottlers.

still not sure why bakedalasker is calling me a troll though.

If its because of my wifes habit of locking me out when im blind drunk and forcing me to live like a hobo for a few hours to teach me a lesson which I learn until the following weekend then I guess I can live with that.

If its because we share differing opinions on a subject then

I know my opinion will more than likely be in the minority, but hey life would be very boring if we all followed the crowd and had the same opinion on life.

I read the headline and was disappointed when i found out it was for ridsdale. he can speak for himself.

I was hoping they had apologised for what they said after the fatal incident which lead to the tradegy of Mike Dye. Which i still haven't sen an apology for.

I will never buy that shitrag again.

Davey Jones is still being paid as that was the contractual situation in a meeting with the Cardiff Board of Directors after the failed play off final V Blackpool. Nothing to do with Peter solely at all.

The simple conclusion would be that he knows his way around football and has built a wealth of contacts and experience in the game . Business acumen though a slightly weaker strength.
