Football Manager 2010 HELP!

I'm playing FM2010 (I'm to tight to get 2012) via steam.
How do I update the game to get the current players etc etc.....
A nice step by step guide please peeps

The last ever Patch released officially was Patch 10.3 which was pretty much in May 2011. Only way I think you could get the current player is by going into Editor yourself and updating it.

Just copy and paste this into your tool bar at the top of any programmed page opened and Editor will open C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\football manager 2010\tools\editor
