GERRARD SUSPENDED BY THE CLUB FOR LEEDS AWAY

Interesting this one. Talking to one of his mates he says hes suspended and cant go to leeds. Im pretty sure he hasnt picked up that many yellows so is this for opening his gob? sounds like it in my opinion

I said on tuesday evening to my son " that's his 5th yellow card so he misses the Leeds game"

So nothing sinister here .....why are people trying to stir ?

Billy Ronson's right. Gerrard told me yesterday at the club shop that he is suspended for Leeds. Nothing else.

Gerrard needs to calm his hothead, as he's picked up a couple of needless bookings this season!

He did take one for the team against Burnley on Tuesday though, much the same as Hudson should have done, instead of allowing himself to get skinned against Barnsley, last Saturday!

These things do happen when you play with pride and passion, personally I like him as a player and what he did with the armband for Mike Dye when he scored was a great gesture one that maybe certain other players may not have done, no one can fault him for commitment or bottle but an explosive temperament can lead to lots of bookings as can now be seen, rather him on our side than the opposition.

Not a huge loss, he probably would have been on the bench anyway. Hudson & Turner again with Kienan & Blake on the bench - thats good enough for me.
