Haven't got a clue about any of that. I'll take a wild guess that my first away game was at Newport County when I was still in school (about 1980, maybe?), but I'm not sure.

My first away game was Reading around 1989 / 1990 - not sure what the exact year was. I just remember thinking how amazing Ninian Park was compared to Reading's stadium [their old ground was utter shit!]

Can't remember the score and don't know who was playing as I was only 5 at the time, but what I do remember was terrential rain, sleet and snow on an open ended away terrace similar to the grange end before it had a roof.

I also remember over turned cars and mass violent disorder after the game.

As for how many away games I've been to, lost count - it's definately in the hundreads though!

Blackburn 1976/77 cold tuesday night game, had to walk from ponty to penrhiwceiber early hours of the morning and more or less straight to work oh happy days

ive only been to 4 away games and thats wembley twice the millenium stadium and the home of my beloved arsenal. can i have a ticket for the quater final if its against a big team ?



for those who know me will know im joking. im not sure how many aways ive done but im on 42 away grounds. unsure of my first game imagine it is either reading qpr or plymouth as they are the only grounds i have been too more than ive been to wembley.

Reading 2008-09 season im only seventeen before everyone starts claiming im a glory boy but have to been about 20-30 away games now not to sure

Hereford away 91 was my first away game. Aged 15.

There was more City fans there than Hereford.
