well theyve got one of our rejects knocking them in for fun so why not us have one of theirs.

There's a reason why Leeds are prepared to loan him out to a rival club in the same division. He's lower league standard in my opinion. To be honest I think we will have to start looking to Europe as I can't think of any Premiership reserve striker, with the exception of Federico Macheda who we could realistically bring in on loan to improve our attacking options.

We can't borrow anyone fro outside the English leagues in this window. Isn't allowed.

I don't mean right now mate, I mean in the January window. Until January, I don't see us being able to get any strikers in on loan to improve on Miller, Earnie, Rudy, Mason and Parkin. I don't think Paynter will be an improvement on either of these either and he will be a waste of wages.

Malky says he wants to bring in players on loan who can hit the ground running straight away, unfortunately there's very little players of this calibre out there on loan who could join us and make an instant impact, I believe this is why we still haven't brought any loans in yet.

BB :ayatollah: - I had Cleverley down as 1 of the players MM would get us on loan pre season.
Can't see him coming to us as Sir Alex has plans this season for Cleverley to have more game time when he comes back.
Also im sure he has been given a new deal at Man U.

Here is another player who we could have got in on a short time loan, and has gone to Div 1...

correct topcat he has just signed a new deal....

eccleston has got some talent.. cant do no worse than what we have upfront...

really like the look of that jordan rhodes guy... also cant believe we missed out on le fondre.. many people said he wouldnt cut it at this level.. 11 apps 8 goals isnt bad...

generally if they have a natural talent for goal scoring, who cares.. bring them in... look at grant holt for norwich, was playing non league not so long back...

Spot on BB :ayatollah: - How is a player going to prove himself at a higher league...unless he gets the chance :ayatollah:

Le Fondre : Lambert : CM-Smith : Rossco : Baldock : Maynard : To name just 6 have been given the chance to step up.
