Malky has a go

Tue Oct 18, 2011 8:44 pm

He walked on the pitch at the end of the game, the ref put his hand out to shake hands and Malky has had a heated exchange of words with him to a backdrop of City fans chanting 'Malky f**k him up, Malky Malky f**k him up'

Great support by the travelling City support, well done lads and lasses :ayatollah:

Re: Malky has a go

Re: Malky has a go

Go in the changing room and have a go at the players he needs to.

Re: Malky has a go

Tue Oct 18, 2011 8:56 pm

Sometimes they go for you (Saturday)

Sometimes they go against you (Tonight)

Penalty aside, we threw the lead away twice and if I was Malky
Id be more pissed of with my defence for that than the referee.

From what the comms said 3 of Peterboroughs goals were dubious.
2nd goal was not a free kick, 3rd was never a penalty with the 4th being offside.

You cannot have a go at the players when the officials are inept.

So by that logic refs can't give penalties unless they can guarentee it won't change the game?

Yes thats fair comment, if true.

BBC say it was an unfair challenge for the Penalty and a foul for the Free Kick.

Says the other 2 were well taken and no mention of offside.

I will have to watch it when the highlights are shown and then we can debate it properly.

It was only a couple days ago we got a dodgey penalty think some forget when it goes for us

Re: Malky has a go

Tue Oct 18, 2011 9:11 pm

at 3-2 up with 87 mins played we should have been in possesion making it difficult for pboro to get the ball...

however dubious pen and offside goal maybe... we should not have allowed the opp to get in to these positions at this point of the game....

From what my P'boro mate has told me, the penalty was Taylor being the goalkeeper blocking it from going in and the 4th was just the player bursting through the defence. Will wait to see it on BBC website before i comment

What are you on about sense at last?

Gareths comments are based on what a commentator said from probably high up in the stand.

BBC are reporting a blatant hand ball for the penalty and that the winner was not offside but that the player broke the trap.

Richie seems to have confirmed the same from someone who was at the game.

Bad defending, I stand by my comments, Malky should be more angry with his defenders than the Referee.
