New Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cotterill has banned his players from Twitter and Facebook. Anyone using either site will be fined £1,000 per word.

Whats peoples thoughts, should this be done at all clubs? our club?
Or is it a case of some players spoiling it for others?

To be fair most of our players are good value for money on Twitter. Well worth the follow.

I read somewhere it would be £1000 a word if the message was against the club? I'm sure it wasn't just a general ban.

i know that a premiership player with 50,000 friends,doesnt actually use facebook,so all those players on facebook may not be who they say
