From official site, via Ambassador e-mail list. The stats at the bottom are not good reading at all regarding the head to head. :(

After a pulsating 2-2 draw with Ipswich on the weekend, the Bluebirds now travel to London Road as they take on Darren Fergusons Peterbourgh United tonight 7:45pm.

Malky Mackay will look to get City back to winning ways against a team that has started well after their promotion through the play offs from League One.

It looks like the Bluebirds will be without Scottish International Kenny Miller as the game has come to early. Malky pointed to the return of Miller on Saturday as he address the media gathering on Monday:

"Cardiff City have had some decent performances, but there have been more draws than we would have liked," said Mackay. "It's that final ball - a cross, pass or shot. Making sure there is extra concentration on the final ball.

"We have played with really good quality at times and can score goals.

"We are making chances, good chances and we have to be more clinical.

"Peterborough are a highly energetic team who have been together for a couple of years.

"They are on a decent run and London Road is never an easy place to go.

"We are looking forward to the challenge and, off the back of our draw against Ipswich Town, we are looking for the win we need."

The head to head is very interesting Peterborough have won 10 of the 20 league meetings. The Bluebirds have prevailed in four, with six finishing level. The last league meeting at London Road was a 4-4 draw in the Championship in December 2009. It was a club record equalling highest scoring league draw for Posh. This was despite City taking a 4-0 halftime lead.

London Road has not been a very good hunting ground as we have only registered maximum points once in our history; 2-1 in the old Fourth Division in October 1986 with Nigel Vaughan and Paul Wheeler getting the goals in front of 2,858.

Some other facts about the Posh

* Peterborough are hoping to add to three wins from the last five league games.

* They are the only club without a clean sheet in the Championship.

* Darren Ferguson's men have launched an unrivalled 95 shots on target in this Championship campaign.

I still recon we can win this though.... :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
