Bellew saying he was ashamed for his kids to see that?

What a tool. He fought like a warrior

Seeing their Dad call someone a "scared rat", "im gonna kill yer"
and doing cut-throat signs, now THATS something to be ashamed of
the mouthy scouse tw*t

Even worse for Bellew...

For ONCE i agree with taff. plenty more things for bellews kids to be adhamed about than stanfing t2t with a world champ.

Clev is embarrasin wen he does that 'tongue out i aint hurt' dance

Bellew got under cleverlys skin in the build up drawing cleverly into a brawl when cleverly stoodof his superior boxing skills shown his superior boxing skills Nathan would of learnt a lot tonight if Hopkins wins later would prefer Nathan to wait a few years before he fights him preferably 5.

Cleverley is a WBO Champion. Its pretty much a British and European 'World title'
always has been always will be.

He does not pack enough power to get to the very top, and without that knockout
power, he would need to be far more evasive and harder to hit. Hopkins would own
him, so would Chad Dawson and The IBF holder Tarvis Cloud would knock him into
next week. Boxing is my favourite sport, i even like it more than football, but not
more than Cardiff City

Re: BELLEW

If its your favourite sport i would of thought you would of realised winning the wbo at 24 is somthing special. He is still very young and will still get stronger. Fighters dont hit their prime till about 27. The only problem he has is he likes to get a bit cocky when he takes a pod punch but thats just part of his game, never did calazache any harm.

Cracking scrap respect to both fighters after that both in the ring and the interviews after would welcome a return

Re: BELLEW

Taffy i agree whole heartedly Cloud and Dawson would cause serious damage to Clev.
Bhop would whip him so hard in the build up Clev wouldnt be able to fight on the night.
Bellew Got under his skin so easily making me think Bhop would rape him mentally.
Clev would struggle against Pascal also would beat him.
I like Clev but after tonights performance he has shown his is Elite European and not World Championship material and ability.
Brehmer didnt fancy it but i think Zsolt Erdie (Hungarian fighting in U.S) deserves a shot even though he is 37 he still unbeaten.

Also the judge who scored it 117-112..What the DaffyDuck was he up to?
I had it Bellew by 1pt, but over the whole fight i dont think he did enuff to claim the belt.

Im not trying to slag him off. and the WBO title IS something to be proud of.
But he does not have the one punch power to go all the way. His workrate is
nothing special and he is very 'hittable' He can take a punch, but when he
steps up a level i see him getting stopped. sadly.

Calzaghe was different, an ATG. He DID have a knockout punch, but once his
hands were fucked he upped his workrate so much that NOBODY in the world
could live with him. Calzaghe also had the toughest chin I've ever seen in
boxing and the biggest heart

Taffyapple, everything you said about calzaghe was spot on,except he was never known for his knockout punch. He was very accurate with his punching abilty. For someone with remarkable handspeed,he could hit the target at will

In his early career Calzaghe was known as a big puncher, up until he
fought Eubank, only one of 22 opponents had lasted the distance with
him, and there were some very early knockouts in there too, Eubank
said himself he'd never been hit harder. Calzaghe had to alter and
adapt his whole strategy cos his hands were fucked, which makes him
even more remarkable. The USA boxing media and fraternity love him,
but the USA boxing public hate him for beating up Jones and putting
old 'racist bernard' in his place :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Im sure he had problems with his hands even when he was a youngster.I boxed the night he had his last amateur fight,he had an exhibition against a boy from my gym.You could tell even then he was going to make a living for himself out of boxing. He was very quiet back them days :ayatollah:

He somehow figured how to punch at less than full power for ten years.
Getting between those ropes is scary enough at any level. But to do it
against the Worlds best boxers knowing your short a few tools AND
making them look ordinary is in my eyes one of the greatest feats in Modern boxing.
The American Boxing public are ignorant bitter racists and they will never
forgive him for being a 'Brit', being 'white' and smashing their two bad
boy 'niggas from da hood' in Lacy and Hopkins... thats a fact!

Thank God Manny Steward said Calzaghe was one of the best he's ever seen!! :ayatollah:
