Cardiff City have on Friday evening completed the loan signing of 21 year old Aston Villa goalkeeper Elliott Parish until November 10th 2011. Elliott has been brought in as extra cover following a minor injury to Tom Heaton and will be in the match squad on Sunday for the visit of Leicester City. He will take up squad number 29.

Yes hes the same goalkeeper who was in our development team against Llanelli.

But I am bit confused, how can we sign him on loan, when we had him on trial ?

Well he can't be worse than Bywater because that is impossible. Good luck to the lad Parish, seems like a good prospect. Not too much experience though so hopefully Marshall doesn't get injured.

Everyone was expecting a few players in on loan like a winger or a striker. I don't think many people had a goalkeeper at the top of their list! But cover was definitely needed for Marshall not Heaton has a minor injury.

I really hope we get a winger and striker in on loan in the next few weeks. Because we have Malky I'm confident we will!
