Being a miner from 1975 - 1991, and also living so close to the pit involved, realise what solidarity means. We have seen over the last week or so what can be achieved in times of hardship with the death of mike, just brings it home how we should respect life and enjoy it when we can. Fingers crossed the three miners remaining trapped will have a successful conclusion.
